Mother Tongue

This is an excerpt from a BBC comedy show, Blackadder, in which Samuel Johnson (the author of the first English dictionary) tries to win over the patronage of a certain prince. You will notice that the latter (Hugh Laurie, whom you might know better as Dr. Gregory House) is as smart as “a whale omelet,” in contrast to hisĀ  lowly butler, Blackadder (Rowan Atkinson, whom you might remember as Mr. Bean and Johnny English). “Mother Tongue” is featured most prominently at 5:45 and for about 4-5 minutes.
